1. Data controller
Nextwald is a service operated by Junnho. For any question about this policy or the use of your data, you can contact the team through Junnho’s contact form, available from the “Contact” link in the footer.
2. Data we process
When you visit Nextwald, the service may process technical data needed for security and operation, such as your IP address, browser, language, and the date and time of requests. Some data used to prevent abuse is hashed before it is stored.
If you use an account, Nextwald may process the information needed to sign in and manage your profile, including your username, email address, Cfx.re identity, avatar, and selected language.
Your interactions with the service may also be recorded, including votes, reviews, resources, servers followed, Discord integrations, and actions performed from the dashboard.
3. Purposes and legal bases
This data is used to display servers and resources, manage accounts, record votes and reviews, administer servers, maintain integrations, prevent fraud, and secure the APIs. These activities are necessary to provide the service or are based on Nextwald’s legitimate interest in protecting its infrastructure.
Google Analytics and Matomo are activated only after you consent through the consent banner. These tools help us understand how Nextwald is used. You can change your choice at any time under “Cookie settings” in your profile.
4. Cookies and local storage
Nextwald uses cookies needed to operate the service, including to maintain a session, remember your language, apply security measures, and manage certain authentication or payment flows. They are not used to track your browsing for advertising purposes.
A first-party cookie allows Nextwald to recognize a visitor pseudonymously in order to deduplicate certain signals used for server rankings and recommendations. It is separate from Google Analytics and Matomo and is not used to display advertising.
Your consent choice is stored in your browser’s local storage for 180 days. After you agree, Google Analytics may set audience-measurement cookies and Matomo may use its own cookies. They are not loaded before your agreement.
5. Recipients and third-party services
Data may be processed by providers needed to operate Nextwald, including authentication services, Cfx.re, Discord for Waldy integrations, Tebex for relevant flows, Cloudflare Turnstile to prevent abuse, and Google Analytics or Matomo with your consent.
These services may apply their own privacy policies and retention rules. Nextwald does not sell your personal data or use it to create a public profile of your activity.
6. Retention
Data is kept for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, to secure the service, and to comply with applicable legal obligations. Account data is kept while the account is active, then deleted or anonymized when it is no longer needed. Data about votes, reviews, and security may be kept longer to prevent abuse and preserve the service history.
7. Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability of your data where these rights apply. You may also object to certain processing based on legitimate interest and withdraw your consent to audience measurement at any time.
To exercise your rights, contact the Nextwald team through Junnho’s contact form and describe your request, including any information needed to identify your account. You may also contact the data protection authority in your country.
8. Changes
This policy may change when Nextwald adds features, changes providers, or updates its security measures. The latest update date is shown at the top of this page.
